What is the GED testing program?
The GED testing program offers you an opportunity to earn a GED high school diploma. Many people who did not finish high school have knowledge and skills comparable to people who did graduate. This idea is the basis of the GED testing program. The GED Tests ask questions about subjects covered in high school.
The GED Tests are available in English, Spanish, and French. Special large-print, audiocassette, and Braille editions of the GED Tests are available. Adults with disabilities may be eligible for adaptations to testing conditions.
Available in Spanish. The GED is available in the Spanish language at selected GED testing centers.If you take one section of the test in Spanish, you must take them all in Spanish.Ask the staff at your GED testing center if this option is available at their location.More than half of all students completing the GED in the continental USA take the test in the Spanish language.
Will the GED qualify me for financial aid for college?

How do I apply to take the test?
Mail an application directly to the testing center in your area. In some cities you can also go to a public library to pick up an application.
